This day we celebrate the feline species and all their wonderful mystical ways and entertaining lives. IT has come to our attention that cat videos and photos are a big trend on social media getting millions of views and influencers. I have to admit when I get a bit time or need a lift in my mood, I just watch a few of them and I am right as rain. To include I am a Cat Mom myself.

I do love all animals. Mine are service and ESA which have and still do to this day save my life in many ways. Plus very magical. To include go back to ancient times and are considered royalty. Egyptians worshiped them to include believed they kept evil spirits away. They also helped with the rodent situations.

Taking place annually on 8 August, International Cat Day is a day to unite cat lovers across the globe and celebrate cats – sharing our passion for this fascinating species!

International Cat Care are proud to have been the custodians of this special day since 2020, which was created initially by the International Fund for Animal Welfare in 2002.
