according to apnews.com this banana art on the wall went for at an auction for over 6 million dollars. Yes now I remember when my dad owed a daily queen and you know dairy queen is like heaven to a young kid. The largest banana was delivered to our daily queen in huber heights ohio and it got big news and an article. It made just from this one large babana a ton of banana royal splits for customers. That was something but I don’t think my dad got 6 million dollars no way for it. Maybe made some money off selling the splits. As an artist if I would of came into my talent then I could of been famous at a young age with this idea. I would show a pic of this banana but there was no internet back then. But it was a really large banana.
So this auction was held in New York and from what I gathered it was held at a gallery called Sothebys Auction. This type of art is called conceptual art. There was a bidding and this piece attracted bids starting at $200,000 and it had to be withdrawn from views.
Then it kept getting offers as this wednesday going up to finally being awarded to a crypto business Tron founder by the name of Justin Sun who padi 40 times higher than the offers. Sun purchased the certificate of authenticity to it which gives him full authority and on the wall called ” Comedian”
